Actor Yomi Fabiyi has said his colleague Olarenwaju Omiyimika aka Baba Ijesha will appeal his 16-year sentence by a court in Lagos for sexual assault on Thursday.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in a two-hour judgment on Thursday, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, and attempted sexual assault.
Taiwo, however, discharged and acquitted him of counts one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
He was thereby sentenced to 16 years imprisonment.
Reacting to this, Yomi Fabiyi Baba Ijesha will appeal his 16-year sentence by a court in Lagos for sexual assault on Thursday.
