“She was disrespectful”- Reactions as Singer Teni snubs President Buhari before and after receiving National Award

Popular singer Teniola Apata better known as Teni, snubs President Buhari at International Conference Centre in Abuja on Tuesday, October 11, where she and other prominent figures in the country were conferred national honors by President Muhammadu Buhari.

In the viral video from the event, Teni, who was conferred the Member of the Order of Niger (MON) was called upon to receive the award and she allegedly ignored and refused to shake hands with President Buhari.

Some Nigerians have faulted the way and manner the singer received the award and have taken to twitter to air their displeasure.
