Nigerian actor Aremu Afolayan has taken to social media to remember two late icons in the Nigerian literary and entertainment industries.

In a post on his Instagram page, Aremu shared a photo of the late Adebayo Faleti and Akinwunmi Ishola, both of whom were renowned playwriters and actors in Nigeria.

In his caption, Aremu expressed how much he misses both Faleti and Ishola, who he described as great men.

“My two great PAPA MISS YOU GUYS”, he wrote.

Fans of the late icons and followers of Aremu also commented on the post, expressing their own appreciation for the legacies of Faleti and Ishola

Akinwunmi Isola was a Nigerian playwright, novelist, actor, dramatist, culture activist and scholar. He was known for his writing in, and his work in promoting, the Yoruba language. As an actor, he was known for Agogo Eèwò, Efunsetan Aniwura and Efunsetan
