“He remains a peaceful and a law-abiding citizen”- Kwam 1’s daughter, Dami react to video of a man that claims her father joins thugs to beat voter in Lagos

Dami Marshall, the daughter of popular Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam 1, has reacted to a video that recently went viral on social media of a man accusing her father of joining thugs to beat up voters at a polling unit in Lagos.

Recalls that Kwam1 was accused of allegedly joining thugs to beat supporters of the Labour Party in Lagos state.

According to a man who spoke while surrounded by some other people, Kwam1 and other APC thugs beat up voters attempting to vote for the Labour party in the area.

Reacting to this, Dami tags the video as fake news because his father is a peaceful and law-abiding citizen.

She wrote,” DISCLAIMER !!! 📌📌 It has come to my attention, indeed I have been inundated with calls seeking my reaction to a video making rounds on social media, where an unfounded allegation is being made against my Father, by a supposedly aggrieved Labour Party member, particularly stating that My father Kwam 1 was beating people and even attempted to take polling materials into his residence”. In other words, claiming that he used thugs to disrupt the electoral process in an area.

Please disregard such claims as they are the handiwork of mischief makers and wicked individuals.

Kwam 1 remains a peaceful and a law-abiding citizen, who goes about his lawful business/duties peacefully. It is rather appalling and disheartening that these individuals will make such unsubstantiated claim against his person, indeed, it is rather unconscionable and totally unacceptable.

I therefore unequivocally state that he was never involved in such acts and he will never endorse such. Thank you”
