Femi Branch praised Davido for paying tribute to the National Arts Theatre, which has suffered from so much neglect

Nigerian actor, Femi Branch, has commended popular Nigerian musician, Davido, for paying tribute to the National Arts Theatre, which has been in a state of neglect for a long time.
During the Timeless concert, Davido and his team erected what could pass for the biggest stages in Africa for the musical event.
The stage was a replica of the national theatre, one of Nigeria’s notable edifices.
Reacting to this, Femi Branch took to his own Instagram page to praise the musician. He commended him for drawing attention to the plight of the National Arts Theatre.
Femi Branch wrote: “Apart from putting up a World class comeback concert @davido did something else that was so unimaginable at the Timeless concert….he paid a fitting tribute to our own beloved National Monument which has suffered so much neglect in the past; THE NATIONAL ARTS THEATRE!!! Davido brought the National Theatre to Tafawa Balewa Square!!!!! How mad is that?!?!?! This is indeed the reason he is called the BADDEST!!!! “Ọmọ Ede mapo orogun” to the world!!!!!.”
The National Arts Theatre, located in Iganmu, Lagos, was built in 1976 and has been in a state of disrepair for many years. It was designed to serve as a hub for the promotion of the country’s arts and culture, but has been largely abandoned due to neglect and lack of maintenance.
