Regina Chukwu gets emotional as her housewarming party date unknowingly clashes with her husband’s 20th remembrance

Nigerian actress Regina Chukwu recently expressed her emotional state as she prepared for her housewarming party, only to realize that the date she had chosen for the event coincided with her late husband’s 20th remembrance.

The actress took to her Instagram page to share photos, explaining the situation to her followers.

She wrote, ” Happy new week my lovers 😍 So it’s just 7days to my party and this morning I am feeling all sort of emotions (the mushy,mushy kinda emboss)

A whole lot has went down within this short period and I get to learn nd unlearn so many things and a lot abt humans in general but trust me, this isn’t time to go into all that 😇
Now, to the reason why my emotion is all over the place,

We had to move the date from 22nd of March to 1st of May cos election and all that was going on in the country then. The most amazing part of it was that the date we ended up settling for (unknowingly to me was a very significant one in my life)

so when the need to change the date came, @folorunshoadeola quickly rush down to my end, I also called @iamkemikorede and we hastily decided on 1st of MAY , considering we also wanted the Ramadan fasting to be over and done with, but what I didn’t realized then was that the date we chose was the anniversary of my late husband death .. i didn’t realize untill my youngest sibling who happened to be living with me when the sad event happened called from uk to ask me if the knew date I gave them was exactly the 20th anniversary of my husband 😳 I almost debated it until I pulsed to do the calcu and I was like ‘’HAAA GOD! what a way you have of doing your things God’ … now as the day approaches it’s all kind of emotions for me, cos belive me when I say the journey hasn’t been easy and as Gid will have it 20th yrs remembrance has turned to joy for us, it show he didn’t leave me and the kids, it shows my late husband wanted to be present and felt in this time of celebration, it shows God is really the HUSBAND OF THE WIDOW 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Now it’s time to celebrate, this party is all abt thanksgiving and I am seriously in the mood to celebrate 🎊…. 7 DAY TO GO .. countdown with me guys
