American Based Nigerian actor, has raised a thought-provoking question about the way Christian movies in Nigeria often portray traditional religion in a negative light.

In a recent post on his Instagram page, the actor asked, “Why do Christian movies always condemn traditional religion? What if the traditionalists start making movies to condemn Christianity? What’s your honest, polite opinion?”

His post has since sparked a lot of reactions on social media, with many users agreeing with Jokotoye’s sentiment and calling for more tolerance and understanding between different religious beliefs.

Some users pointed out that the portrayal of traditional religion in Christian movies is often based on stereotypes and misinformation, and that there is a need for more accurate and respectful representation.

– Honestly egbon mi , both Christian and Muslims will call our gods names insult them and do all sorts . And we no go hear any cry of blasphemy. But small talk about their god too like this na to dey cry foul play . Traditional religion is the most tolerant religion ever .
