Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has addressed the backlash she has been receiving over her role in ensuring the late singer Mohbad gets justice.

Recalls that that the movie star, alongside her colleague, Tonto Dikeh has been at the forefront of fighting for justice for the late singer, which has earned them several criticisms.

In a recent development,Iyabo Ojo took to her Instagram page to make a promise to her critics, stating she will never back down from the late Mohbad’s case and saying she will see it through to the end.

She also addressed the rumours that she will be sued for claiming Naira Marley killed singer Mohbad.

She wrote,” Lol ok, if the last slide is true, that one is a normal thing I’m used to. but note!!! no amount of distractions, i repeat. NO AMOUNT OF DISTRACTIONS is going to make me back down.

If una like make una off cloth, drink gutter water, mad for street, blog me. your headache ooooo 🙄 Monetization is allowed on my name 😍🤣.

This justice for Mohbad, we will see it to the end .If e sure for una make una pack una sef go SCIID make una go Panti go complain .

TIME OF GIST reported earlier that Actress Iyabo Ojo has listed her achievements in the entertainment industry to celebrate 25 years on stage.

The 45-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to brag about all she has achieved since she joined the movie industry 25 years ago.

The actress chronicled her journey to fame with her first English film Satanic, released in 1998. She stated that she made her debut in the Yoruba industry in 2002 with the film Baba Darijinwon, produced by fellow actor Yinka Quadri.

The movie star aslo thanked everyone who has contributed to her success

She wrote,”It’s been 25 years on stage, and all I can say is God has been more than so good to me. Started when I was 20 years old.

My first role was in 1998 in a movie titled Satanic, played Helen in an English-language film directed by Mr Matthias 2002, I made my Yoruba-language debut in the movie. Baba Darijinwon was produced by Alhaji Yinka Quadri

I produced my 1st Yoruba movie, Botife, in 2004.

I produced my 1st cinema movie Arinzo in 2013.

I produced my 1st English cinema film Silence, 2015.

I became a TikTok sensation in 2020.

I became a professional brand influencer in 2020.

I became a reality TV star 2022

I became a TV presenter in 2023.

I directed my 1st Comedy skit series 2023.

I have acted in over 200 movies, produced over 20 Yoruba movies, and over 10 English movies. Still acting, still producing, and now TV presenting and directing.It can only be God

I want to say a very big thank you to God almighty, my wonderful children for their unending love and understanding and to all my amazing fans and loved ones all over the world. I say thank you, without you all, I may have given up a long time ago.God bless us all and bless our hustle”.
