Nigerian man set to walk from Lagos to Sambisa Forest to break the Guinness World Record for ‘Longest Trek’

A Nigerian man identified as Dayo has announced plans to break the Guinness world record by trekking from Lagos to Sambisa forest to wage war against Boko Haram terrorists.

Dayo had made a video pleading with Nigerians to aid his new dream with their support.

He intends to trek from Lagos to Sambisa forest in Borno state, where he will then fight Boko Haram members terrorizing the state.

He asks that Nigerians show him love and appreciation as he embarks on this Guinness World Record journey.

Timeofgist reported earlier that a chef from Oyo State Tope Magie has embarked on a remarkable culinary journey—a 200-hour cook-a-thon.

Tope Magie aims to surpass the current world record held by an Irish chef who dethroned Hilda Baci.

Maggie took to social media to officially declare his cooking marathon attempt.

He shared numerous pictures and videos from the cook-a-thon.

According to the details shared on a flyer, Tope’s cooking marathon is unfolding at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club, Ogbomoso.

Tope, as captured in circulating videos, kicked off his audacious attempt on Thursday at 6 pm. Remarkably, at the time of this report, he has already surpassed an impressive 17 hours of continuous cooking.

The accompanying flier indicates that the chef has taken steps to seek the official approval of the Guinness World Records (GWR).
