The sister of Mohbad’s wife has spoken against internet bullies and those carrying derogatory statements about her sister, the late Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi.
The sister urged netizens to stop bullying her sister and stop the spreading of fake news against her, implying she has a hand in her late husband’s death.
She stated that all they want is justice for the late singer Mohbad, and with the help of the government and legal teams involved, justice will definitely be served and those found wanting will be brought to book.
She also queried why the father had to bury him in such a rush and noted that those who are involved in his death will never live long nor enjoy life. The sister concluded by stating that her sister, Omowunmi, is innocent and has nothing to hide.
In her words,”Justice for Mohbad is all we want and we shall get it with the help of the government and the legal team involved. No cyber-b*|lying or derogatory statement to the widow and son will be allowed. Why was Mohbad buried hurriedly within 24 hours of his death under the rain despite all the pleas? Mohbad, all those involved in your de*th will not enjoy life, neither will they live long. Omowunmi you are innocent, May you live long to be the mother of your child”
TIME OF GIST reported earlier that Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh has demanded that the Nigerian Police Force release the body of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, for burial, lamenting the force’s sluggishness in completing the investigation into his death.
Tonto Dikeh stated this in one of her Instagram posts, adding that justice must prevail in the death of the ‘Beast and Peace’ crooner.
She wrote, “Give us Mohbad for a befitting burial. We are tired of your carelessness and slowness. If no one speaks, I will.
I have invested too much of my emotions, time, and love to see this Justice go through. As QM says, give the police more time.
Honestly, we have given you all the more time than necessary. This is not the case to be swept under. We want Justice.”
