The actor shared adorable photos of his daughter on his Instagram page in celebration of her birthday, describing her as the royal princess of Lagos .

He wrote,”Hurray my baby is plus one today Bidemi kosoko As you celebrate your 37 years today, I wish you all the good things you wish yourself, continue shine in good health and wealth. Omo balufon, pamu pamu jigijigi most Royal Princess of Lagos. Congratulations”.

Veteran actor Jide Kosoko has been confronted with a hurtful memory of the past as he remembers his first wife, Late Alhaja Sherifat Abimbola Kosoko née Lawal, who left the world 30 years ago.

Jide Kosoko took to his official Instagram page to share a nostalgic photo of his late wife, recounting how he lost her in the year 1993.

Sharing the photo, Jide Kosoko wrote:

Today marks the 30years remembrance of my darling wife, my very first love, Mother of my older children Late alhaja sherifat abimbola kosoko née Lawal.

Death! is usually like rumour to us until it comes to someone very dear and precious to one! When I lost you in 1993 to the cold hands of death, it was not a pleasant exprience for me because you serve as my source of joy and happiness and that of your children too, you played a central and a vital role in the balance of the home even thou I got along few years after your demise, certain events & circumstances always trigger your loving memories.

I know you stand with me in spirit hence I believe in the Yoruba adage which says ‘Oku olomo ki sun’ Comtinue to Rest In Peace my darling.
