Waka singer Salawa Abeni finally shows her husband after four years of secret marriage

Waka music singer Salawa Abeni surprised fans as she unveiled her husband, Rasheed Adahunse, after keeping their marriage secret for four years.

Salawa Abeni revealed her husband during Mr. Adahunse’s birthday and retirement party at Eko Club last Sunday, where the couple celebrated his achievements and milestones.

Mr. Rasheed Adahunse, the Comptroller and Commandant of the Customs Training College, was honored by friends, family, and well-wishers at the event.

Salawa Abeni took this occasion to share the joy of their union after a four-year period in which the couple kept their marriage private.

Her first husband was Lateef Adepoju, owner of Leaders Records, with whom she bore two children.

Abeni continued recording for Leaders until 1986 when she ended her relationship with the record label’s owner.

She married Kollington Ayinla and joined his record label, staying with him until 1994.

Mr Adahunse, the Asiwaju Adinni of Ijebu Isiwo, is the third man she is marrying.

The 62-year-old singer revealed when they met and how long she had been married to him in an interview with Kemiashefon blog.

Timeofgist reported earlier that Salawa Abeni celebrate her son, singer Big Sherif, on his birthday.

She shared adorable pictures of her son on her Instagram page to celebrate his birthday as he turned a year older.

Salawa Abeni in a heartfelt post, showered praise on her son on his special day, describing him as a born star.

She also offered words of prayer, asking God to grant her son long life and prosperity.

She wrote,”I know he doesn’t like to be “casted” as they say it 😁, but today is my son’s birthday, my baby of the house, my fine boy Sheriff 😊 “Olakunle fine boy, ókó waka Queen queen” my BIG SHEFF the rapper Bigsheffbaby
